Cagayan de Oro is often referred to as the “City of Golden Friendship,” and is a Highly urbanized City located in the province Misamis Occidental which is in the region of Northern Mindanao. With a 2020 census population of 728,402 people, it serves as the regional center and business hub of Northern Mindanao. It has a land area of 1,765.00 square kilometers or 4,570.00 square miles
