Tucked in the heart of Northeastern Mindanao lies a city that might not always make the headlines but certainly captures the hearts of those who visit—the component city of Bayugan in Agusan del Sur it is located just north of its provincial capital and municipality of Prosperidad.
This landlocked city is the only city in its province and has 43 barangays of which 3 are urban and the rest is rural. With a 2020 population of 109,499 people, and a land area of 688.77 sq. kilometers (265.94 sq. miles) it is an interesting place to visit.
